The ACL Collective Story

Too many athletes sustain a knee injury on the field, receive poor rehab, and unsuccessfully return to their sport because they were not properly prepared for high level activity. The healthcare system often fails ACL athletes. Health insurance frequently denies access to the amount and types of rehab that are needed for a full recovery and traditional physical therapy clinics end up double or triple booking patients which limits one-on-one attention and leads to generic care provided by assistants or aides. There is a better option.

ACL Collective was founded with a simple goal - to provide high level, results driven ACL rehab to individuals looking to return to competitive athletics and recreational activities. We do things differently here. When you join ACL Collective, you receive an exclusive experience that is fully customized to your needs. We purposefully maintain a small roster of clients, allowing us to offer extended one-on-one rehab sessions, direct access to your clinician throughout your entire journey, truly individualized programming, and the continuity required to address both the physical and mental sides of ACL recovery.

Our Philosophy and Approach

Our treatment philosophy is built around one simple belief - every athlete deserves a rehabilitation plan as unique as their goals.

We will test you - a lot. We collect data via force plates, dynamometers, and video analysis frequently and use that information to progress your program based on objective criteria. We assess, we don't guess. You move forward when you are prepared - not based on an artificial timeline.

Your rehab will look more like strength and conditioning than "physical therapy." You will not be lying on a table doing endless band exercises for months on end. You will be lifting weights and getting strong.

You will be working with a clinician who has a deep background in sports medicine - every time. You won't be passed off to whoever happens to be in the clinic that day. Your rehab is personalized. Think of a question you forgot to ask during your session? On-demand messenger access has you covered.

ACL rehab is a long, tough process. Sometimes it is difficult to come to terms with the reality of an injury. Recovery is not only a physical process but a mental one as well. Throughout your program, we work on keeping a proper mindset and focus.

Your rehab is complete only when you have passed objective testing, been progressed through full on-field activities, and feel fully confident. You aren't thrown back on the field to "work into things" after doing a session or two of some jogging and jumping. We put you through a sport specific progression that will expose you to and prepare you for the realities of returning to competitive athletics.

Join the collective. Own the comeback.
